It
is possible to have the program free of charge for fifteen days,
using the new automatic activation procedure via Internet. It is
necessary to be conneted to the Internet both during the activation
prcedure and during the following work sessions.

is

Slope:
the program now offers new calculation options for the generation
of slope maps; it is possible to create both average and maximum
slope maps. |

Exposure:
the program now offers a new calculation option for the generation
of exposure maps: the absolute angle between the North direction
and the slope dip direction is calculated in these maps. |

Icon
bar and exportation of the listings
An
icon bar has been inserted into all the programs which allows quick
access to the main commands; the tables, apart from the print preview
and direct printing, can be directly exported into Word, NotePad
and Excel.

The
EMF graphic outputs
In
the handy standard window for the print preview, a button has been
added for the EMF graphic outputs, a vectorial format that
allows the insertion of high quality images into the most frequently
used desktop publishing packages.

is

Methods:
the program now offers different calculation methods for a more
efficient comparison of the results.
Overloads:
it is now possible to introduce overloads orthogonal to the slope
profile.

the rock blocks, making it much easier to understand the outputs.

it is now possible to print the right view of a block separately

ROTOMAP
and INQUIMAP

it is possible to add coloured and shaded strips to
the planimetric view and this immediately gives you the sensation
of the differences in altitude.

Perspective:
with the insertion of the same colour options, the perspective
view has also been remarkably improved.

Options:
the many options that are available allow the optimal configuration
of the representative parameters of the magnitude under examination.

new updated version of ROTOMAP is now

Parameters:
the representation of the contour lines of the slope has
been inserted into the geomechanical parameter editing window: in
this way the insertion of the parameters is much easier.

Heights:
the possibility of representing the contour lines of the
maximum heights reached by the blocks on the planimetry allows
one to design the catch fences without having to analyse the sections
of the block falls one at a time.

Times:
using the countour lines of the minimum falling times of the
blocks, it is possible to organise the calibration tests of
the model utilising a simple chronometer rather than the complex
high speed cameras that were previously used to determine the energy
restitution coefficients.
